Event Description

Amnesty International invites you to join us at the 2010 Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference. Our annual conference provides inspirational stories of human rights success and ongoing need, informative networking opportunities, and unique cultural programming.

FEATURING… Ray Krone, Larry Cox, Ellen Dorsey, and many others...

This year’s conference theme, Ignite the Light: 50 Years of Activism, will officially kick off the 50th Anniversary of the founding of Amnesty International. The conference will also focus on celebrating and igniting the passion of millions of Amnesty International members around the world and their commitment to taking action for human rights and dignity. This conference will be an opportunity to network and share activist experiences, strengthen basic organizing skills, and participate in organizational governance to decide the future course of Amnesty International through the resolution process.
