Kullu Valley Bike Project @ Unblurred: First Fridays!

On First Friday, September 3 during the Penn Avenue Gallery Crawl from 6pm – 10pm, help participate in a large community artwork to benefit the Kullu Valley Bike project. Large Sheets of paper will be placed on the floor of the PGH Beautification Project studio at 4810 Penn Avenue then participants will dip their bicycle tires in paint and ride across the paper. Many riders, with many colors, will create an awesome artwork!

The p...aper will then be cut in to smaller paintings that will be put up on display and auctioned off at the Shadow+AVA Lounge on Friday, October 22 at the Bikes for India! event. Enjoy the music selections of DJ Moss-X So, use a bike to make art, enjoy free light refreshments, learn more about the Kullu Valley Bike Project, and have fun! What more can you ask for on a Friday night?

The Kullu Valley Bike Project is a program supported by PGH East Rotary Club that is working to bring education and sustainability to the orphans of Kullu Orphanage and the community members of Kullu, India thru the development of a bike co-op and biking-adventure eco-tourism program.
