Pittsburgh Human Rights Network

On December 9th, I had the pleasure of attending the Second Annual Human Rights Day Celebration at Shadow Lounge. What a breath of fresh air from a typical "night out." It was a great way to bring human beings together to simply celebrate each other and recognize the progression/future of human rights.

Several Pittsburgh organizations attended the celebration with information brochures, videos, raffles, etc. The music and modern dance performances were imenesely entertaining. My friends and I had a wonderfully challenging conversation with a representative from Sampsonia Way Magazine -- He simply asked us, "What does free speech mean to you?" and took a photo of us with our written answers.

I will definitely make a tradition out of attending the annual Human Rights Day Celebration for years to come. Thanks for a great cause-worthy experience, PHRN!!
