Over the last year, Port Authority has added 20 diesel-electric hybrid buses to its fleet,
bringing the total to 26. Two additional hybrids will join the fleet by

Allegheny County Health Department from the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act.
Whether hybrid or diesel-only, all Port Authority buses use a biodiesel fuel blend, and have since October 2009, although use of
biofuel will not be state-mandated until May 1, 2010. (via Port Authority)

PNC has more newly constructed "green" buildings certified by the U.S. Green Building Council than any company on Earth.
PNC is the first U.S. bank to apply green building standards to all newly constructed or renovated retail
branch offices. (via PNC)
If you've been downtown, you may have seen the living wall from PNC. I took this picture when it was still winter, but now the wall is growing and green.
